25 minutes, 2011.
Jeff Dréa is a professional clown. He finds work at birthday parties and neighbourhood festivals, and volunteers at a children's hospital. He is also an activist, a member of the anarcho-syndicalist CNT labor union, and he leads his own struggle against the Church of Scientology, whose French headquarters are steps from his home. In this film, we see how activism and performance can sometimes be inseparable. Directed as an M.A. thesis project for the Master 2 program in Anthropological and Documentary Film at Université Paris Ouest – Nanterre.
